Michael Gootkin's Bar Mitzvah took place at the Gold
Eagle Restaurant in Dayville, CT October 17, 2009. Michael loves to fish so his party was a Fishing
theme with fish, crabs and turtle decorations all over the room.

We started the night off with a little Balloon Stomp!
Michael was pretty good at it.
But alas it was down to two girls and a jumping ninja...
No party is complete without a Hula Hoop Contest!
We had ONE brave adult try out for the contest
It was a close call.
But our champions were found.

We moved on to the formalities with the candlelighting.
Which led to the chair lift.

Girls vs Boys vs Adults!
The adults and boys are tied at this point...
The the adults' cups fall and have to be restacked.
The boys almost have it!
And they win!
What about a Scavenger Hunt / Musical Chairs?
Go find a man's dress sock!
Michael something with the letter "M" on it.
"Bring me a Visa MasterCard or American Express!"
Who got to the chair first?
The winner of the game got super excited!
Next we play Unwrap The Gift.
Calmly pass the gift to the person next to you.
When the music stops..
RIP IT OPEN!
Michael tried to open the box with his shoe!
Uh Oh...there's another box inside!
Don't forget to PASS THE GIFT!
Michael gets it open and wins the prize inside.
Next they ids and adults try out the Human Puzzle.
The solution is actually quite simple...
Maybe if you twist it this way...
Try stepping through it...
Oh wait...the adults want to try..
They said they could figure out how to do it...
The solution look pretty close here!
The solution is easy...really!
When the Human Puzzle didn't work out we decided to let them dance!
The Cha Cha Slide was very popular.
The kids looked great in their hats and scarves.
This guest was having a good time with the Chachka too!
The dancing resumed.
Joyce and Michael danced a special dance together.
Everyone else joined in.
Even those without partners...ad-libbed...
Everyone had a great time that night.
